SBA Form 1010c / 8(a) Business Plan Service
Once you have successfully completed the 8(a) certification process, you must complete a 1010c business plan before you are able to use your 8(a) certification.
The 1010c is not like a normal business plan. Instead of being used to obtain debt financing or to raise capital, it is used to plan out the firm’s developmental objectives. The SBA keeps the 1010c to monitor the progress of the objectives and if each of the firm’s goals have been met then they are able to graduate early from the 8(a) program. To graduate from the 8(a) program, it is important that the 1010c business plan is consistent with any of the information on your 8(a) application and that the growth objectives and capital requirements are met.
The 1010c business plan has two parts. The first part is a set of 52 questions regarding your business, and the second is detailed financial projections for the next 2 years in the program. Each of the questions on the 1010c take between 15 minutes to a couple hours to answer depending on the question. For a consultant that is well-versed with 1010c business plans, it would take around 40 hours to complete.
At LIBERTY8a, each 1010c business plan that we create is tailored specifically for that client. We present these documents with a high level of quality and thoroughness, which will be looked at favorably by the SBA.
