8(a) Annual Review Services

Even after your 8(a) certification, the SBA will monitor your eligibility to stay in the program and your progress on the goals in the business plan that you submitted. After having the certification for a year, you must renew it to continue using the program. To renew your 8(a) certification, you must submit a program recertification within 30 days of the one year anniversary of your certification. 

At LIBERTY8a, we conduct comprehensive annual recertification for clients in which we track the deadlines and inform the client what source documentation is required. We then review the documents provided and prepare a submission package . 

Included in our 8(a) Annual Services Package:

  • You will receive a comprehensive 8(a) annual review checklist, along with any supporting documentation you may need for the annual review submission.
  • We will review and analyze all required data for your 8(a) annual review, if required we will complete an adjusted net worth and adjusted gross income analysis to ensure you still meet the regulations for 8(a) certification.
  • We will advise you of any possible eligibility issues as well as remedies to any potential problems.
  • Once all of information has been collected and reviewed, we will complete the 8a annual review submission through SBA’s Certify system.
  • When the 8(a) annual review is completed, we will send you a copy of the documentation for review before submitting the final information to SBA.
