8(a) Reconsiderations

8(a) Reconsiderations - Quote Provided Following Consultation

Even if you receive a denial letter from the Small Business Administration, you may still have a chance to challenge the denial and get your 8(a) application to be reconsidered. The denial letter that you are sent will state the deficiencies that were found on your application and these deficiencies can often be challenged. Provided you have an explanation or some documentation to support your challenge then your denial can be remedied, and you can still get an 8(a) certification.

Here at LIBERTY8a, we have had a lot of success in the past in successfully challenging client’s denials with submitting a new application and addressing the issues in the denial letter. The consultation for an 8(a) reconsideration consists of our business analysts reviewing the denial letter and talking with the client to determine the possibility of a successful re- submission of the 8(a) application. If the re-submission has the possibility to be successful and the client is able to move
forward with the process, then LIBERTY8a will formulate and submit the new 8(a) application. We will work closely with the client to obtain all the information and documentation necessary to successfully challenge all the deficiencies stated in the denial letter. All correspondence submitted to the SBA will be drafted by LIBERTY8a on behalf of the client.

If you have received a denial letter then you must wait 90 days to re-submit your 8a application along with supporting documentation to overcome the deficiencies in your denial letter. We will work with you to overcome any issues that SBA has found with your original application package.

She effortlessly walked me through the process to obtain my business’ 8(a) certification and helped me prepare our annual 8(a) report. In both instances she was responsive, well-organized and extremely detail-oriented. I can’t thank her enough for helping my business obtain and maintain our 8(a) certification through the Small Business Administration. I look forward to working with her again in the future to help us fulfill all of our SBA requirements. I trust no one else more than her to get the job done right the first time.”

    Founder and CEO, Amivero:

“I have had the pleasure of working with Lindsay on my firm’s 8a application. Lindsay helped navigate me through the process and made sure we submitted a complete and accurate application to SBA. Although my application required a social disadvantaged narrative, as I am a Caucasian woman business owner, Lindsay helped me to prepare a solid narrative and was able to get my firm 8(a) certified. Thank you to LIBERTY8a for your assistance and guidance through this entire process.”
