Federal Certification Programs
SBA 8(a) Certification
The SBA 8(a) certification provides certified businesses access to federal departments or agencies when obtaining contracts. This program can open doors for small businesses by presenting them with opportunities that are not available to non-certified companies.
HUBZone Certification
The HUBZone program, brought to use by the Small Business Administration (SBA), provides opportunities to secure federal contracts for businesses in Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZones). With a congressional contracting goal of 3 percent of all federal procurement going to HUBZone firms, this program has plenty of room for growth.
WOSB / EDWOSB Certification
WOSB/EDWOSB programs help women-owned small businesses that, historically, been underrepresented in government contracting. These programs allow businesses to receive preferential treatment on certain contracts.
